Micron has published its regular quarterly report. It applies to those manufacturers for which the financial year does not coincide with the calendar year. The report provides data for the first quarter of fiscal year 2022, which ended with Micron on December 2.

Revenue for the reporting period was $ 7.69 billion. For comparison: the previous quarter brought the company $ 8.27 billion, and revenue in the first quarter of fiscal year 2021 was $ 5.77 billion.

Quarterly operating income for the year rose from $ 866 million to $ 2.631 billion. Quarterly net income for the year rose from $ 803 million to $ 2.306 billion.

The press release on the results of the last quarter also contains the forecast for the current quarter. The manufacturer expects revenue of $ 7.5 ± 0.2 billion.
