Russia - The assembly of drones was proposed to be included in the program of schools in Moscow and the Moscow region

Work with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), produced on the basis of the Avangard military-patriotic education center for youth, may be included in the program of secondary schools in Moscow and the Moscow region. This was reported to TASS by the director of the center Daria Borisova.

“The governor of the Moscow region has a plan to apply to schools with this proposal. There is also help and support from colleagues from the Ministry of Industry of the Russian Federation,” she said.

Borisova clarified that training in working with UAVs is planned to be carried out as part of the lessons of life safety, technology or computer science. “The story of the drone and robotics is complex and consists of several stages: assembling the device, programming, piloting and counteracting another drone. Therefore, we broke up into several subjects within the curriculum, prepared these programs for their rehabilitation in schools,” said the head of the center.

According to her, at the moment, the drone, designed at Avangard and shown at the Army-2022 international military-technical forum, exists in a single copy. In the future, it is planned to launch mass production of the device.
