Sony introduced a compact camera for vloggers for $500

Sony showed a compact digital camera ZV-1F, designed for bloggers. The device is equipped with a swivel display, which helps the user to film themselves.

Camera Sony ZV-1F is built on the basis of an inch CMOS-matrix with a resolution of 20.1 MP. There is also a fixed lens with a focal length of 20 mm and f / 2.0 aperture. A 3-inch touchscreen display with a swivel mechanism is responsible for displaying the image.

A directional microphone with a windproof pad is used to record sound. Also, a standard 3.5 mm jack is provided for connecting a custom microphone, and Micro HDMI and USB-C ports are located on the case.

The ZV-1F camera records video in 4K at 30 frames per second. There is support for S-Log2, S-Log3 and HLG profiles. There is also a special mode for recording vertical videos for social networks. Recorded videos can be transferred to a smartphone using Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. The camera is equipped with intelligent eye AF, closest focus switching and filters to improve skin tone.

The device will be on sale at the end of October, and the price will be $500. At this stage, sales will begin in the US and Canada. Representatives of Sony have not yet reported about other countries.
