On October 14, 2022, the Russian computer equipment manufacturer Aquarius launched its second plant for the production of electronics and computer equipment in test mode.

A full-fledged launch of the Aquarius plant in Tver is scheduled for the end of October. Serial production of business-class laptops Aquarius Cmp NS483 has already started at its facilities. The volume of the first order of the plant is up to 3 thousand pieces of these laptops. At the plant in Shuya, Aquarius began producing the Aquarius Cmp NS483 model in 2020. By the end of the year, if there are new corporate orders, the plant in Tver may produce up to 20,000 Aquarius laptops.

The new plant of Aquarius in Tver is deployed on the basis of the existing production and logistics complex with an area of ​​27 thousand m², which the company bought out from the previous owner in March. Aquarius deployed conveyor assembly sections and robotic lines for the production of equipment, as well as workshops for mounting printed circuit boards, at the new site. At this plant, Aquarius employees will assemble servers, data storage systems, personal computers, laptops, tablets, monoblocks, personal digital assistants, as well as printers and multifunctional devices. The planned capacity of the plant is up to 1.5 million devices per year. Aquarius invested 5 billion rubles in the project.

At the moment, Aquarius is using its full capacity and continues to modernize its plant for the production of electronic devices in the city of Shuya, Ivanovo Region. More than 350 employees work there. The company produces about 1 million different types of electronic products and high-tech devices per year. Its production area is 10 thousand m².

In September, Aquarius announced that the production capacity of the plant in Shuya would be expanded by 1.5 times, the company would invest 1.5 billion rubles in the development of this production.
