Ruselectronics Holding (part of the Rostec State Corporation) has developed and started serial production of routers to create a secure information infrastructure. The device is powered by the Baikal BE-T1000 processor, and the software is entirely Russian development, the report says.

“The router, which is serially produced by Ruselectronics, will help businesses reduce dependence on imported solutions, as well as ensure information security,” said Oleg Yevtushenko, executive director of Rostec.

The routers are designed and manufactured by JSC NPP Istok im. Shokin. According to Andrey Tyurin, head of the scientific and technical center of NPP Istok, 2,000 products have already been produced.

“We have started serial production of devices; at the moment, 2,000 items have already been produced. By the end of the year, it is planned to manufacture another 3,000 routers, as well as expand the range of manufactured equipment and start mass production of edge routers,” Tyurin said.

The device is intended for use in small organizations with up to 50 employees. The modular structure of the solution allows you to customize each device to the needs of a particular client. The router is equipped with PoE ports through which data and power are transmitted simultaneously. This makes it possible to deploy a video surveillance system and organize access to video conferencing, the report says.
