Users of Chinese social networks have confirmed that the iPhone 14 Pro Max smartphones, which are manufactured in India, have appeared on sale, which is directly stated on the packaging.
One customer purchased two dark purple 256GB iPhone 14 Pro Max (the most popular color/memory combination) at the Apple Store in Dalian. At the same time, one smartphone was assembled in China, and the second in India.
Earlier media reported that Apple began production of the iPhone 14 in India in September this year - earlier than expected. The company has reduced the gap between production in China and India from months to weeks.
JPMorgan predicts that Apple will move about 5% of its iPhone 14 manufacturing capacity to India this year. By 2025, about 25% of Apple products, including Macs, iPads, Apple Watches and AirPods, will be made outside of China.
