The most secure browser for computers announced

DuckDuckGo, known for its privacy-enhanced search engine, is developing a browser for macOS and Windows computers that will block the tracking of users' online activities. This was stated by the CEO of the company Gabriel Weinberg, reports The Verge.

According to him, the most secure browser for the PC will be as good as its already existing mobile version. Weinberg noted that the user will not need to activate any hidden security settings in order to privately access sites.

Like the mobile application, the analogue for computers will receive a Fire button, which will allow one click to erase the entire history of visits and any saved data, as well as close all tabs.

The DuckDuckGo browser will be built on top of the rendering engines built into the operating system to reduce the load on the OS. Weinberg claims that early browser tests showed it to outperform Google Chrome in speed.

Earlier it was reported that the browsers Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Safari and Mozilla Firefox were vulnerable to previously unknown attacks. Experts have documented the possibility of stealing user data stored inside the application.
