Rostec showed unique test footage of the Russian drone BAS-200

The press service of Rostec has published a video showing the first footage of tests of the BAS-200 multi-purpose helicopter-type unmanned aerial vehicle in Nalchik.

A helicopter-type drone can be used to perform a variety of tasks: delivering cargo and monitoring the area in the interests of geological exploration, forestry, agriculture, search and rescue, and many other areas of activity. At the end of last year, he received a type certificate from the Federal Air Transport Agency.

BAS-200 as part of a universal unmanned aerial platform is the first Russian helicopter-type drone included in the register of experimental aviation.

The BAS-200 is capable of reaching speeds of up to 160 km/h and carrying loads of up to 50 kg. The drone can be in the air for up to 4 hours, the flight can take place at an altitude of up to 3500 meters.
