The team of the largest Russian online retailer Wildberries has announced an important change in the policy regarding various kinds of vapes and smoking mixtures.

As the press service told journalists, a complete ban will be introduced on the sale from February 7, even for nicotine-free versions of such products. Unscrupulous sellers were to blame for this, offering one type of nicotine-free products with nicotine products, the sale of which is already prohibited in Wildberries.

A spokesperson for Wildberries said:

We completely limit the sale of vapes, related liquids and smoking mixtures, even nicotine-free ones. The news about the changes was released for sellers in the offer agreement on January 31, from February 7 they will come into force.

The new ban covers nicotine-free smoking devices, vapes, nicotine-free blends, smoking machines and liquids. In 2022, the marketplace banned the sale of hookahs.
