64 cores, 4.55 GHz and 280 W

Earlier, we wrote that the premiere of the long-awaited AMD Ryzen Threadripper Pro 5000 processors is postponed - they will be released only on March 8, 2022, although AMD's next major announcement will take place in early January. However, for those who need a powerful CPU for their workstation, it makes sense to wait - the CPUs will indeed be fast. All their characteristics have already been published on the Web.

There will be five models in the series - 5995WX (64 cores), 5975WX (32 cores), 5965WX (24 cores), 5955WX (16 cores) and 5945WX (12 cores). The table contains only CPU numbers, but their retail designations have long been known. Interestingly, all processors in the line are characterized by a TDP of 280 W - regardless of the number of cores. The maximum frequency is also the same in all cases - 4.55 GHz. Also, all CPUs are endowed with an 8-channel DDR4-3200 memory controller and support up to 128 PCIe 4.0 interface lanes.
