Porsche has released official images of the all-new Macan crossover, which is the brand's first car based on the PPE (Premium Platform Electric) platform. The car received a permanent magnet synchronous motor and support for 800-volt charging.
The front end features the iconic quad headlights. At the rear, the taillights feature the famous Porsche logo in the center and the Macan logo at the bottom.
It is already known that the purely electric Porsche Macan will be released in two versions: base and flagship. The system power output of both can reach approximately 450 kW and the maximum torque exceeds 1000 Nm. The new car uses a high-performance lithium-ion battery with a total capacity of 100 kWh. The battery core material is an alloy of nickel, cobalt and manganese in a ratio of 8: 1: 1.
The charging speed of the Porsche Macan and the maximum charging power reach 270 kW. Even at charging stations that can only use 400V technology, new vehicles can be charged quickly using the "combined charging" function. The car can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 22 minutes.
The Porsche Macan will be equipped with an automatically retractable rear spoiler that can be adjusted depending on the vehicle's speed and wind resistance. The new car's drag coefficient will be just 0.25Cd, a significant improvement over the previous 0.35Cd. In addition, the power reserve will exceed 500 km. The new car will also receive the Porsche Active Suspension Management System with two-valve damping technology, air suspension, side-locking rear axle and rear wheel steering system.
The car will be equipped with three displays as well as a head-up display system with augmented reality technology that can display navigation, vehicle speed and other information on the windshield.
