Asus: Buying OLED monitors has become a little safer

Despite the fact that OLED screens have become much more common than they were 10 years ago, the problem of burn-in has not gone away. OLED monitors are still quite rare, and, apparently, in order to stimulate demand, companies have begun to increase warranty periods.

Asus now provides a two-year burn-in warranty on all of its OLED monitors, and MSI has even extended the warranty to three years.

It is likely that others will follow the example of these market players. Of course, unlike smartphones, people usually use monitors for less than two or three years, but an extended warranty is still better than none.
