In December, the social network is testing improved message delivery algorithms. Last New Year's Eve, the maximum load on servers serving individual message components grew 15 times. The team of the social network predicts that this New Year the load will exceed last year's indicators and will grow 20 times.

To prepare for peak activity, the team adapts the new equipment and runs a series of artificial stress tests. Their results show that the service can withstand loads of tens of millions of messages sent and delivered per second.
