As experts of the agency "Autostat" report, the leader in the market of new pickups in Russia has changed. In November, this title for the first time in several months went to the UAZ "Pickup" model.

The last time UAZ "Pickup" topped this rating in July, after that Mitsubishi L200 and Toyota Hilux were in the lead. In November, sales of UAZ "Pickup" in the Russian Federation amounted to 271 copies, the second place was taken by Toyota Hilux with sales of 220 vehicles.

The third and fourth places are occupied by the Chinese pickups Great Wall Poer and Great Wall Wingle, sales of which were 75 and 56 units, respectively. Next comes the Mitsubishi L200 with only 40 cars. Isuzu D-Max closes the rating, which was chosen by 15 buyers.

According to the results of the first eleven months of this year, UAZ "Pickup" also became the leader, sales of which amounted to 2,674 vehicles. The second place is occupied by Toyota Hilux with 2437 cars, and the third place is occupied by Mitsubishi L200 with a result of 1925 cars.

This week, Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant published an official statement on social networks, which says that the company is preparing to start selling UAZ Patriot and Pickup models in the United States in March next year.

In addition, UAZ Pickup took the lead in the Cost of Car Ownership 2021 award.
