After the sales of Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro smartphones started in China, tests of new products from various local observers began to appear on the Web. In one of these, Xiaomi 12 Pro was tested for strength: the smartphone was thrown onto different types of surfaces (concrete tiles, marble, wooden panels) from different heights - 1, 1.5 and 2 meters. Interestingly, even with the first falls from a meter height, the screen breaks in the corner, but at the same time it retains its functionality, which it does not lose until all attempts to break the device are completed. But when dropped from a height of 1.5 and 2 meters, the display quickly becomes covered with deep scratches, although the glass retains its strength, and the screen remains functional. Interestingly, the glass of the rear panel turned out to be almost stronger than the glass of the front one.

And although the Xiaomi 12 Pro has generally passed the drop tests well, it is still not as strong as the iPhone 13: the Ceramic Shild glass in an Apple smartphone is much more difficult to break.
