The announcement of an independent addition to the 4th part of the game Serious Sam - Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem has been released. As already clear, the add-on will take place in Russia or, as stated in a press release on the game's Steam page, - "WELCOME TO SIBERIA ... the heart of Russia."

The release is scheduled for January 25th. This is stated on Steam and in a short teaser on the official channel of the distributor and publisher of games Devolver Digital.

The action of the original Serious Sam 4 already took place at one of the levels of the game in Russia, but for a relatively short time. And, apparently, from the cut level, which was discovered back in September, a story addition was made. Or the demo of the cut level was more like a hidden ad for a new plot addition. And perhaps because of some crunches and tight deadlines, the developers decided that a plot addition could be made from the cut level later. But it doesn't matter now.

Croteam developed the game together with Timelock Studio. The game has announced 5 new levels, which means that the addition, although independent, will not be long.

The developers also announced new weapons:

So, although the developers have announced a completely "new look at the already familiar adventure", the addition will be a standard shooter with large areas and a large number of opponents. Well, it would be strange to expect something different from the addition of the next Serious Sam game.
