Russia (bbabo.net), - The participants of the New Year's corporate party with a feast in the interdistrict hospital of Lesosibirsk were subject to disciplinary sanctions. This is reported by TASS with reference to the Ministry of Health of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

Earlier, a video was published in the media and social networks that recorded the celebration of the New Year by employees of the medical institution. The video was accompanied by information that one of the patients was waiting for an urgent operation during this corporate party.

After the publications and appeals of the relatives of the deceased patient, the Lesosibirsk Prosecutor's Office, the Ministry of Health of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Roszdravnadzor, and the Investigative Committee began checks. It was found that the man applied to the KGBUZ "Lesosibirskaya MB" on December 25, 2021. The patient underwent several operations on the gastrointestinal tract. On December 26, the patient was transferred to intensive care. He passed away on January 5, 2022. A forensic medical examination was appointed, which should determine the cause of death.

Governor Alexander Uss instructed to sort out the situation in the hospital, and asked the mayor of Lesosibirsk, Andrei Khokhryakov, to establish contact with the patient's relatives, to provide them with the necessary support.

According to the Ministry of Health, for violation of the rules of official conduct and ethical standards, which caused damage to the reputation of the medical institution, the employees who appear in the mentioned video were reprimanded. At the same time, the department noted that the New Year's corporate party is not associated with the death of the patient.
