Masalitin on Kokorin's prospects: he will be enough for another three to five games

Former CSKA Moscow football player Valery Masalitin spoke about the prospects of Fiorentina striker Alexander Kokorin. The forward has no playing practice, it is possible that he will soon return to the RPL. Earlier, Ural President Grigory Ivanov announced his desire to get Kokorin, in addition, Khimki midfielder Denis Glushakov urged Alexander to join the Moscow Region team on social networks. According to Masalitin, Kokorin has already played his part and he will not be enough.

“He has very little playing practice, if not to say that he has none at all. It is clear that Spartak got rid of him well when there was an opportunity to sell him for good money. Shamil Gazizov (ex-general director of Spartak -) worked very well in this situation. And his possible return - you know, with age you need to play more in order to be constantly in shape. Training is very good. Moreover, he began to have problems with muscles, injuries. And if you remember his backstory, he had an operation on the cruciate ligaments back at Zenit. And he didn't heal the injury. He had a break in the training process.

Then this misfortune happened when he was sitting in places not so remote. Naturally, he did not have game practice and training. I returned to Sochi - I sort of more or less put myself in order, began to bring some kind of result. And then again I had no practice. It will be hard for him to come back. Yes, perhaps at this stage he will still give out three to five games on emotions. But it will be very difficult for him to return to the peak of form, as we knew him, when he played for the national team and brought results. I repeat, he can still be enough for three to five games, but in the future he is no longer a particularly assistant, ”said Masalitin.

Earlier it was reported that Kokorin liked Glushakov's post with a proposal to move to Khimki.
