According to the investigation, an Omsk woman who returned from work found a tearful daughter at home, who told her about what had happened. The mother called the police and an ambulance. The girl was hospitalized.

The policemen who were in an inadequate state of the attacker were found in the courtyard of a residential building on 19 Party Congress Street. He climbed a tree, screamed loudly and refused to go down. The man was removed from the tree by rescuers who arrived on call.

He has now been arrested and taken to the police. It is known that earlier he was convicted eight times for property crimes.
