Russia - Control over compliance with the mask regime has been strengthened in Moscow transport

Russia (bbabo.net), - Employees of the state institution (GKU) "Organizer of Transportation" have strengthened control over compliance with anti-COVID measures in the capital's transport. The increase is associated with an increase in the incidence of COVID-19, and in particular the new strain "omicron".

“Currently, the situation with the incidence of COVID-19 strains, including Omikron, is very tense. Therefore, we are strengthening control over compliance with anti-COVID measures throughout the entire transport complex of the capital. Particular attention will be paid to the situation in subway cars, as many passengers take off their masks or lower them on the chin, passing through the control line at the turnstiles," Vladislav Sultanov, head of the Transportation Organizer, told RIA Novosti.

Compliance with anti-COVID security measures is monitored by the company's specialists during inspections at the entrances to the metro, at MCC, MCD stations, railway stations and on land transport.

Recall that earlier calculated the number of violators in the past year in transport. They turned out to be 550 thousand people. And over the New Year holidays, more than 6 thousand violators of the mask regime were identified, which is twice as many as in the same period of 2021.
