The Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation included two legal entities in the register of media-foreign agents, according to the website of the department.

The new foreign agents are LLC Given Message and LLC Number Seventy-Seven.

These legal entities were created by journalists who were previously recognized as foreign agents. “Number Seventy-Seven” belongs to Andrey Zakharov, a journalist for the BBC Russian service, and “This message” belongs to Regina Khisamova, an employee of Idel.Realii, and her colleague Regina Gimalova.

Thus, the list of foreign agents for the entire existence of the registry has reached 113.

On December 30, the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation published an addition to the register of foreign media agents. The list was replenished with eight names.

It is clarified that "the decision was made on the basis of documents received from authorized state authorities." The department is convinced that "these persons systematically distribute materials to an indefinite circle of persons, while receiving foreign funding."
