A police officer in the state of North Carolina shot and killed a previously detained man who is in the intensive care unit of a hospital. It is reported by ABC News.
According to the channel, the man was in the custody of the Durham police and was being treated at Duke University Hospital. One day he attacked a police officer and took away his gun.
The policeman shot the man with another pistol. The medical staff of the hospital treated the man, but he died.

The incident took place in Ohio. According to the Latin Times, 42-year-old Sarah Ziccardi called the Secret Service and said she was going to "harm" former US President Donald Trump. Police officers were sent to the address of the caller, on whom Ziccardi attacked with a cleaver. After several requests to drop the knife, the police opened fire.
One of the bullets hit the woman in the chest, but the wound was non-fatal. The assailant is currently at MetroHealth Medical Center and is expected to face charges.
