According to him, the pressure in Moscow has risen to 740 millimeters of mercury column, but on Monday it will drop to 725 millimeters of mercury column, because a deep cyclone is approaching.

“There will be bad weather: warm weather with temperatures ranging from -1 to -3 degrees. This is very high. It will snow, a blizzard and ice is expected, ”the forecaster said.

Vilfand noted that the temperature deviation from the climatic norm on Monday and Tuesday in the capital will be 5-6 degrees.

Earlier, a leading employee of the Phobos weather center, Yevgeny Tishkovets, said that light frosts would come to the capital region by January 19. The meteorologist stressed that in the north of the Moscow region the air temperature will drop to -20°C, but it will feel colder by 4-5°C.

According to him, on Monday, January 17, a powerful North Atlantic cyclone will cover the capital region, which will provoke moderate snowfalls and blizzards, reducing visibility to several kilometers.
