Russia - First cases of Omicron infection detected in North Ossetia

“Two cases of infection with the Omicron strain have been recorded, but so far the Indian variant Delta has dominated the territory of the republic,” Tibilov said. - In general, the situation in the republic last week was stable.

The head of North Ossetia, Sergei Menyailo, meanwhile, instructed to prepare for an increase in the incidence of COVID-19 in the region. He instructed the Ministry of Health and Rospotrebnadzor to prepare specific proposals for this case.
