The activists of the public organization "National Committee +60" appealed to Patriarch Kirill to approve the text of the "Putin's Prayer" at a meeting of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church. This is reported by Ura.Ru.

Representatives of the Committee believe that the prayer dedicated to Russian President, Vladimir Putin, can become that "spiritual support" in which "Orthodox people is now in dire need."

Therefore, during the contest of the committee appeared the variant "an address to a deep respected Putin." The prayer is written in Russian, which makes it accessible to all citizens, including very young children, the committee noted.

It has to be noted that the organization created for the 60th anniversary of the Russian president, has decided to disband. The reason given by representatives of the committee is explained as the "fulfillment of the main goal - the reckoning of Putin as a saint."
