Russia (bbabo.net) - A contracting company received a multi-million dollar fine for failing to repair a children's clinic in Dalnegorsk, the regional prosecutor's office reports.

A municipal contract for the repair of a healthcare facility worth 51 million rubles was signed between a city hospital and a limited liability company. The contractor had to fulfill obligations by October 1 last year. However, by this time the repair was never completed.

An unscrupulous contractor was charged with an administrative violation under Part 7 of Article 7.32 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (inaction resulting in failure to fulfill contractual obligations). The prosecutor's office decided to fine the company for 11.5 million rubles.

The fulfillment of contractual obligations continues to be monitored by the supervisory authority.
