The pocket sized fuel cell that uses water and salt to ensure your phone never runs out of power

Swedish developers have created the world's smallest fuel cell, and it can keep your batteries charged when you're on and off the grid, as informs.

The new myFC fuel cell, called 'JAQ,' uses just water and salt to power the portable charger, and it is small enough to fit in a pocket or purse. Each fuel cell generates enough electricity to fully charge your smartphone.

The JAQ works by inserting the PowerCard, which contains salt and water, into the charger.

After inserting the card, the JAQ is then connected to the smartphone or other device with a USB cable.

Inside the cell, the water and salt will react to produce hydrogen, which generates 1800 mAh, according to the website.

It doesn't just work for smartphones, but can charge any USB compatible device, including Android, iOS, and Windows phones and tablets.
