Russian designer and blogger Artemy Lebedev ironically commented on the introduction of Ukrainian sanctions against him in his Telegram channel.
“Zaya, now I can sleep peacefully,” the designer wrote.
To whom exactly the message was addressed is not specified.
Lebedev is the founder of one of the largest, most famous and expensive design studios in Russia "WebDesign", which in 1995 was renamed the Art. Lebedev Studio.
The day before, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky put into effect the decision of the National Security and Defense Council on sanctions against a number of Russian and Austrian citizens, as well as against several Russian companies. Three citizens of Austria fell under the sanctions, the permanent representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Caucasus, Yuri Chaika, and designer Artemy Lebedev.
The sanctions include blocking of assets - a temporary restriction of a person's right to use and dispose of his property in Ukraine, as well as preventing the withdrawal of capital from Ukraine for a period of five years.
The sanctions list includes the companies Lenpromtransproekt, Geozemstroy, and the joint-stock company Insurance Business Group.
