More than 3,000 people signed up for a demonstration scheduled on April 26 against already executed changes to Hungary’s education system by the government.

The organizers are initiating an open dialogue for everyone looking to help bring about change in Hungary. They demand the disassembly of the current parliament, the termination of corruption, an independent prosecution with the resignation of chief prosecutor Péter Polt, transparency and the termination of the proposal that would make the faculty of Social Sciences at ELTE, Hungaryʼs largest and best-rated university untenable.

A recently published draft bill from the ministry intends to terminate graduate programs for social sciences, communication and international relations.
