At the same time, the number of confirmed cases of coronavirus infection in Russia increased by 65,109 per day, to 11,173,300. During this period, 24,719 people recovered, 692 people died. The incidence rate of COVID-19 over the past week increased by 102.4% compared to the previous one, the department added.
In Moscow over the past day, 19,509 cases of COVID-19 were detected, 71 people died. The day before, 17,528 new cases of coronavirus were detected.
