In Russia, the average amount of paid traffic police fines has increased

The average check for a fine for traffic violations among Russians in 2021 amounted to 695 rubles. The amount increased by 18% compared to 2020, according to a study by Russian Standard Bank.

Despite the increase in the average amount of a fine, last year the number of traffic violations decreased by 26% (judging by the total number of fines paid by bank cards).

It is noteworthy that the average check of one receipt for men is higher than for women - 702 rubles. against 674 rubles. respectively. Thus, the men were either in no hurry to pay discounted receipts, or their fines were more severe.

Last year, Russians tried to pay fines faster in order to get a 50% discount: it turned out that the majority of paid receipts (68%) were in the amount of 250 rubles. In second place in terms of the number of payments are receipts of 500 rubles. With a share of 6% of all such fines, they are followed by 750 rubles. with a share of 2%.

Russians aged 21-30 had the largest amounts of fines for traffic rules (836 rubles). The smallest customers are 41-50 years old (653 rubles), analysts found out.

Earlier, the traffic police spoke about the mandatory conditions for the application of a new criminal penalty for violators of traffic rules.
