Russia (bbabo.net), - For public discussion on the federal portal of draft regulatory legal acts, draft federal state educational standards for secondary vocational education (SVE) have been published - for a total of 44 professions and specialties.

The new standards are more flexible, there is an additional "digital" module, shorter training periods are set, and the learning pace itself is more intense.

Why? From September 1, 2022, the project of the Ministry of Education "Professionality" will start. Its essence is shorter and practice-oriented training programs. It is planned that by 2024 more than 350 thousand students will participate in the program.

So what will they teach? Take, for example, the draft standard for the specialty "Animation and Animated Films". The graduate will have to be able to create "visualized character movement", engage in "post-processing ... using digital technologies", then - by choice: either learn to create animation for computer games, or delve into 3D animation. There are other "options" as well. After the 11th grade, it will be possible to learn to be an animator in 2 years 10 months, after the 9th grade, the study period will be a year longer. But the specialty "Obstetrics": here the graduate's main skills are professional patient care, medical care during pregnancy and after, emergency medical care. Study after the 11th grade for 1 year 10 months, after the 9th grade - for a year more.

Important: the new standards will come into force on March 1, 2022. But colleges have the right to start teaching them now, if students do not mind.
