Dangerous meteorological phenomena were noted on the territory of 22 subjects. The main problem is a sharp warming in a number of regions of Russia immediately after heavy snowfalls. The hottest, or rather, the warmest point on the map of the country is the Krasnodar Territory. There, rescuers pump out more than 86,000 cubic meters of water every day. In total, 430,000 cubic meters have been pumped out since the flooding.

"Bad weather led to disruption of power supply and road communication, damage to the roofs of buildings and flooding of territories. Thus, five residential buildings and 93 household plots remain flooded in the Krasnodar Territory. on the Georgian Military Highway," such data was announced at a weekly conference call at the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

In addition to the rise of melt water, a sharp warming also threatens with the collapse of roofs due to the oppression of dense snow and the overflow of rivers.

According to the operational forecast of scientists of the All-Russian Research Institute of Civil Defense, there are concerns about the Don rivers below Zadonsk in the Lipetsk region and the village of Novogrigorievskaya in the Volgograd region, on the Khoper river below Novokhopersk, and also on the Vorona river below the city of Borisoglebsk in the Voronezh region. There are risks of flooding of settlements in Khakassia, Buryatia, Tyva, in the Trans-Baikal Territory and in the northern part of the Amur Region.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations also recalled that, according to long-term statistics, February is characterized by an increase in emergencies associated with roof collapses. It was in February that the roofs of Transvaal Park and Basmanny Market collapsed. This year, similar incidents were recorded in Ryazan, the city of Alzamai in the Irkutsk region and the Tuapse district, where the roofs of a vegetable warehouse, a hockey court and a gas station collapsed.
