Russia (bbabo.net) - In the Belgorod region, a criminal case was opened after the death of two workers of the municipal enterprise "Zelenstroy" in the city of Stary Oskol.

The day before, they sawed branches of a tree in one of the microdistricts, one of the sawn parts fell, hitting a cradle with people who worked without insurance. The cradle turned over, people fell out of it, and then a part of a sawn tree fell on them. As reported in the Investigative Committee of the ICR for the region, a criminal case was opened under Part 3 of Article 143 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of labor protection requirements, resulting in the death of two persons through negligence).

Investigators have already worked in the Zelenstroy offices, confiscating documentation related to occupational health and safety. Now forensic examinations have been appointed, which will establish all the circumstances of what happened and those responsible for the tragedy.
