It is noted that the messenger is a defendant in two investigations. In one case, the organization is accused of not having a representative to interact with the German judicial authorities. Second, there are no tools in the messenger that would notify users of illegal content.

The newspaper emphasizes that in two cases the messenger faces a maximum fine of 55 million euros.

Earlier, the German authorities were going to conduct checks against Telegram. They also notified the company representatives of the need to comply with local laws.
