In Kiev, a man was detained for throwing a hammer at the window of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. It is reported by the National Police of Ukraine.

“Today, February 6, while on duty in the territory adjacent to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, police officers of the special police regiment No. 2 detained a man who damaged the window of the administrative building,” the report says.

It turned out that the violator was a 27-year-old resident of Lviv, who had prepared a tool to damage the window in advance. The man tried to escape, but the police stopped him.

Earlier, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine deprived the graduate Oleksiy Chikalov, who left the country, of his parliamentary scholarship. This was reported by the portal "Strana.ua".

The graduate was deprived of the award in the amount of 100 thousand hryvnia (271 thousand rubles), since, according to the deputies, he violated the rules for receiving it. It is noted that this document was one of the few that could be adopted in the Rada on February 1 - it was supported by 263 deputies.
