“At first it was severe pneumonia, then there was an intestinal form of infection, many people went through it, now it turns into SARS due to the appearance of “omicron”, and then it will be chronic fatigue syndrome. This is what I now see in people suffering from "omicron" for the second time. They do not tolerate the infection as such, they do not even have respiratory manifestations, no runny nose, no sore throat. They just feel tired and overwhelmed, ”said the specialist.
According to him, some of the patients take these signs for post-covid syndrome, but this is a re-infection with coronavirus. Ershov also noted that many patients consider "omicron" to be a different disease.
“People started to think that there was a new virus. It's funny, of course. Many began to say: “I was sick with covid, but there is no Omicron yet,” the doctor explained.
