Russia - Middle classes of Vladivostok schools will go to distance learning due to COVID-19

Russia (bbabo.net), - Pupils in grades 5-8 of municipal schools in Vladivostok will study remotely from February 7 to 20. This is due to the spread of COVID-19. According to the press service of the city administration, the decision was made at a meeting of the commission of the operational headquarters for the fight against coronavirus.

Experts believe that this measure will reduce the spread of the virus among nearly 30,000 schoolchildren. Pupils of the senior and junior (from the second to the fourth) classes will remain in full-time education.

To date, 90 classes of 29 municipal schools have switched to distance learning due to quarantine. Yesterday there were 42 classes on online learning.
