Russia - Ministry of Health allows minors to receive a printed COVID-certificate themselves

Russia (bbabo.net), - Russian minors will be able to independently obtain a printed certificate of vaccination against COVID-19, as well as medical contraindications for vaccination or a past illness caused by coronavirus. This follows from the order of the Ministry of Health, published on the official Internet portal of legal information.

Until now, only Russian citizens over 18 years of age could receive a printed covid certificate. At the same time, the new version of the document states that in order to obtain a certificate, persons under the age of 14 will need to present a birth certificate to an employee of the MFC.

The order also establishes that if, when applying for a paper certificate based on a positive antibody test, information about this is not available on the State Services portal, a complaint can be sent to Rospotrebnadzor. The order comes into force on February 21, 2022.

Earlier, the Ministry of Health published an order according to which Russian citizens will be able to receive a COVID-certificate with a QR code for antibody analysis from February 21. To do this, they need to donate blood in any accredited laboratory to check for the presence of immunoglobulins G.
