The scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand told what kind of weather awaits the inhabitants of the European part of Russia at the beginning of next week. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
According to him, spring weather, typical of mid-March, is predicted throughout the aforementioned territory - there will be no precipitation, but a lot of sun is expected. On February 14, in Moscow and St. Petersburg, the air temperature will be 8 and 9 degrees above the norm, respectively.
“The most noticeable signs of spring are in the center, as well as in the northwest ... Nature is showing generosity and giving her Valentine,” the weatherman said.
On Friday, February 11, the air temperature in the capital rose to +2.8°C, making this the warmest day of the winter.
Earlier, Vilfand also promised Muscovites warm weather on Valentine's Day. He noted that next week will also be six to seven degrees warmer than normal.
