Auction house Sotheby's sold 200 pairs of sneakers and earned $ 25.3 million

A collection of 200 pairs of Nike "Air Force 1" sneakers, created in collaboration with Louis Vuitton, was sold at Sotheby's for a total of $25.5 million, according to WWD.

All proceeds from the auction will go to the Post-Modern Scholarship Fund, founded in memory of fashion designer Virgil Abloh, who passed away last year and was Louis Vuitton's menswear creative director in recent years. The aim of the foundation was to provide support in the field of education for talented and promising students of African descent.
