The government expanded the free retraining program

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree on expanding the free retraining program for citizens.

So, in 2022, in addition to people over 50 years old and women with small children, young people up to 35 years old inclusive will be able to get training.

“Several categories of young people will now be able to become participants in the program of retraining and additional professional education. Among them are citizens who, after completing their studies or military service, are not employed for more than four months, employees who are under threat of dismissal, citizens without secondary vocational or higher education, ”the publication on the website of the Russian government says.

This year, 1.2 billion rubles will be allocated for retraining for young people, and 7.4 billion rubles for other categories of citizens. At the expense of these funds, 20,000 citizens under 35 years old will be able to receive a profession in demand or additional education. In total, almost 150,000 Russians will be able to take part in the retraining program this year.

An application for training can be submitted on the Job in Russia portal.

Earlier, the Cabinet approved a resolution on free second higher education in the field of arts.
