Russia - In Dzhankoy, the couple died of carbon monoxide poisoning

Russia (bbabo.net), - The Investigative Committee and the Crimean prosecutor's office have begun an investigation in connection with the death of the spouses in Dzhankoy on Oktyabrskaya Street. This was reported in the press service of both departments.

The parents were found dead in their apartment by their son. On February 6, at about 6 pm, the man brought food and water to his parents, but when he entered the apartment, his mother and father no longer showed signs of life.

"The son noticed that the apartment was stuffy, the windows were tightly closed, the gas stove burners were lit, food was being cooked on them," the report says.

According to forensic experts, a man born in 1962 and a woman born in 1961 died from carbon monoxide (carbon monoxide) poisoning. The Investigative Committee began a pre-investigation check into the death of people. The prosecutor's office, for its part, finds out all the circumstances of the incident.

This is not the first case of death of people as a result of carbon monoxide poisoning in Crimea. In early January of this year, a family of five was poisoned in Simferopol. Then one person died, and four more ended up in a hospital bed. A year ago, in Simferopol, on Lisa Chaikina Street, a woman and her two daughters, 7 and 12 years old, were also poisoned by carbon monoxide. Fortunately, there were no casualties in this incident - all three were saved by doctors. Later, the owner of the apartment explained that the gas equipment had not been checked in the apartment for a long time.
