Russia (bbabo.net) - A man was detained in Penza for attacking women and committing sexual crimes, the Investigative Committee for the region reported.

On the evening of February 7, two residents of Penza almost became its victims. He met one of them in a dark courtyard on the street of the 65th anniversary of the Victory, but passers-by ran up to the screams of the victim. The attacker fled. Later, in another house on the same street, a man attacked a woman in an elevator.

- He sexually assaulted her. Thanks to the interaction of investigators and police officers, the identity of the attacker on women was established as soon as possible. It turned out to be a resident of Penza, born in 1997. During the course of the investigation, he was identified by both victims, - said Tatyana Makhnitskaya, senior assistant to the head of the Investigative Committee for the Penza region.

The perpetrator was arrested and charged with sexual assault and attempted rape. He pleaded guilty to the charges. The issue of choosing a measure of restraint in the form of detention is being decided.
