Russia (bbabo.net), - Petersburg residents are once again called to join the "Give a Doctor" transport assistance project for local therapists.

Volunteers help doctors get to patients for home calls. Their number has now increased several times, doctors, without exaggeration, work hard, so such support is invaluable.

In order to automate and simplify the process of fulfilling requests from polyclinics by volunteers, the project organizers launched a bot on the Telegram social network: @drive_doctor_bot.

- The current applications from polyclinics are placed in the system, - they say in Smolny. - After logging in as a volunteer (phone number and driver's license photo required), the motorist selects an area, then a list of available applications appears. To pick up the application, the participant contacts the person in charge and on the appointed day and time goes "on the line".

According to official data, about 200 Petersburgers have joined the volunteers since the start of the project. They helped doctors quickly reach 8286 patients, spending more than 2350 hours of personal time and driving more than 9128 kilometers.
