Russia - Retro train Morozny brought passengers on an excursion to the Bor district

Russia (bbabo.net), - A locomotive-powered train of four passenger cars delivered residents and guests of the Volga capital from Nizhny Novgorod to the city of Bor. The entire trip was entertained by the Snow Maiden with animators, and each participant of the trip received a gift.

The handsome steam locomotive P36, built in 1952, can pick up speed up to 130 kilometers per hour, its unique whistle can be heard for many kilometers. The locomotive looks especially impressive in the puffs of steam that envelop it while moving. Such a (now almost fabulous) steam locomotive became a pleasant addition to the excursion, which was attended by about a hundred tourists, including children.

By the way, trips in trains powered by locomotives are gaining more popularity in the country, and the Nizhny Novgorod region is no exception. Last year, such a tour to the village of Prostokvashino (Tonkinsky district) was very successful, and on February 6, thematic trip "Engine to Romashkovo" (Romashkovo is a village near Nizhny Novgorod) starts. Trips to Semyonov and Bogorodsk are also planned. The organizers expect that excursions "under a steam locomotive" may be as in demand as trips on a retro train to the Karelian mountain park Ruskeala.

One of the highlights of the Bor route was a visit to a local ice cream factory, where the guests were shown around the workshops and shown a master class on dipping popsicles on a stick in chocolate.

- Everything is clear and clean, and the ice cream itself is amazing, - Anatoly Kiselev from Nizhny Novgorod shares his impressions. - The children especially liked the open-air museum of military glory on Victory Square, my wife and I liked the Sergievskaya Sloboda temple complex and natural Uzbek pilaf, which we tasted in a real yurt. By the way, among the tourists, as we learned, not only Nizhny Novgorod: here is a family from St. Petersburg, there are also guests from Udmurtia.

Meanwhile

The well-fed and spiritually nourished passengers of the "Morozny" were waiting for another cultural event - a trip to the pine forest on the Moss Mountains. Here they wandered around the resting places of Gorky and Chaliapin, learned the song "Dubinushka" from the repertoire of the great bass and tug of war.
