Down to -5°C and light snow expected in Moscow on Wednesday

Southwest wind with gusts of 5-10 m/s will blow in Moscow. Atmospheric pressure will be 739 millimeters of mercury.

At night, the thermometers will drop to -8..-6°C, light snow will fall in some places.

The scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia Roman Vilfand predicted that in Moscow at the end of the week a drop to -14°C is expected. The forecaster said that at night on February 5 in Moscow the temperature will be from -7°С to -12°С, and in the daytime - from -4°С to -9°С. By February 6, frost will intensify and the temperature will drop to -14°C. During the temperature will be from -4°С to -9°С.

On January 31, about 50 flights were canceled or delayed at the airports of the capital due to heavy snowfall. Thus, heavy rainfall led to the cancellation of five flights and the delay of 27 flights to Sheremetyevo. Nine flights were delayed to Vnukovo, 11 flights were delayed to Domodedovo and four were cancelled.
