Russia (bbabo.net), - The Prosecutor's Office of the Krasnodar Territory sent a criminal case to the court on the theft of more than 200 million rubles, which were allocated for school equipment. This was reported in the press service of the supervisory department.
The indictment was approved against a commercial structure - suppliers of interactive equipment. Also involved is the head of the state order department of the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth Policy of the region.
According to investigators, two entrepreneurs colluded with an official from the Kuban Ministry of Education and, with his help, won electronic auctions that were held to purchase equipment for schools. Equipping specialized classrooms in educational institutions was carried out within the framework of the national project "Education".
After winning the competition, businessmen from 2019 to 2020 supplied equipment to educational institutions, but in much smaller quantities than required. It also did not meet the requirements of the terms of reference, quality characteristics and state standards. As a result, more than 200 million rubles were stolen from the budget, according to law enforcement officers.
In the case, entrepreneurs and an official are charged under the article "Fraud committed on an especially large scale" (Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Now the criminal case has been sent for consideration to the Oktyabrsky District Court of Krasnodar.
