Prosecutor General of Ukraine Irina Venediktova said that the country has been in a state of war for the past eight years, and she herself is used to living with a “disturbing suitcase”. It is reported by RIA Novosti.

“We have been living in a state of war for the last eight years. If anyone has forgotten this, we have been very well reminded of this today in recent months. Therefore, we are doing everything to be ready for any development of the situation ... Whether it will happen or not, I do not know. But are we ready for this - yes, we are ready. I, my deputies are all, the staff units are all working as usual, ”said the Prosecutor General.

According to her, she and her subordinates were preparing "as early as a year ago", although former prosecutors general "chuckled" at her "alarm suitcases" order.

“I graduated from the University of Internal Affairs. I’m used to living with a “disturbing suitcase,” Venediktova said.

At the same time, she stressed that this is a normal situation in the internal organs and urged citizens not to panic.
