According to her, the most excess of temperature above the norm is expected in the center of the European part of Russia and in the north-west, and in the south of the country the excess of the norm will be five to six degrees.

The meteorologist said that on the coast of the Krasnodar Territory and in the republics of the North Caucasus, the excess of the temperature will be slightly lower - about two to three degrees.

Makarova said that in the European part of Russia, abnormal heat will remain until February 20. “During the decade, approximately the same values ​​will remain. The next decade is from February 11 to February 20, ”said the weather forecaster.

Earlier, the Scientific Director of the Hydrometeorological Center, Roman Vilfand, told what kind of weather awaits the inhabitants of the European part of Russia at the beginning of next week.

According to him, spring weather, typical of mid-March, is predicted throughout the aforementioned territory - there will be no precipitation, but a lot of sun is expected. On February 14, in Moscow and St. Petersburg, the air temperature will be 8 and 9 degrees above the norm, respectively.
